Competing in Freeride is a very specific thing which helped me push my limits and therefor become a better snowboarder. From being able to watch others ride the mountains and pick lines that I would never have seen, to understanding my “style” and what I enjoy riding the most, which then translates to a good competition line as you can go for it knowing that you have chosen something that “fits” you.
